  Tom Berry

Tom Berry has led a diverse and successful career as a Producer, Distributor and Financier of films since 1984 when he founded ALLEGRO FILMS with partner Franco Battista. For fifteen years, Berry acted as President of ALLEGRO FILMS one of the most prolific feature film companies in Canada, producing more than thirty feature films and TV series while also building a theatrical distribution company, production and post production facility. In addition, Berry also wrote and directed several feature films including "Crazy Moon" starring Keifer Sutherland and partnered with several producers including Rene Malo and Pierre David to produce "Scanners II" and "Blind Fear."

Between 1994-1997 Berry produced several features released by SONY PICTURES including "Screamers" directed by Christian Duguay, and "The Assignment" starring Aidan Quinn and Ben Kingsley. Berry has also produced numerous television films, all of which have enjoyed successful worldwide distribution.

In 1998 Berry moved to Los Angeles and founded LEGEND ENTERTAINMENT, LLC where he served as President. LEGEND packaged eight television movies under an agreement with COSCIENT GROUP and MOTION INTERNATIONAL.

In 2000, LEGEND ENTERTAINMENT was purchased by Munich-based NEW LEGEND MEDIA AG where Berry produced several feature films including "The Unsaid" starring Andy Garcia, and "You Stupid Man" starring Milla Jovovich and Denise Richards.

Berry has recently founded PREMIERE BOBINE, a feature and television Production Company with offices in Canada and REEL ONE ENTERTAINMENT an LA based Production Company where he continues to finance and produce feature films and television. In 2003 Berry, together with Pierre David, founded IMAGINATION WORLDWIDE an international sales company in which he acts as Co-Chairman.

Berry is the past Chairman of the Canadian Film and Television Production Association and past board member of APFQ and is highly active in industry affairs and associations.

In June 2000 Berry was awarded The Jack Chisholm Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence from the Canadian Film and Television Production Association. The Chisholm Award is a prestigious award presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated a significant contribution to the success and progress of the Canadian motion picture or television industry.
